What to Wear to A Spring Wedding - Capsule Wardrobe Outfit Ideas

Spring is in the air and that can only mean one thing...

Wedding season is upon us! As a guest, that means it's time to RSVP and clear your schedule! Weddings today are often multi-day affairs, blocked out of an entire weekend or perhaps even an entire week if it is a destination wedding or if there will be travel involved. If the couple has already registered, it should be pretty easy to pick out the perfect gift - but picking out what to wear to the big event might take a little more thought.

With this in mind, we are offering up a little outfit inspiration in the form of a Spring Wedding Capsule Wardrobe to get you through the main events:

1) Rehearsal Dinner:

Few colors are as universally flattering (or as well suited for Spring) as coral! The hue comes in a variety of shades and compliments just about every skin tone. It's pretty and feminine, without being too girly or loud, making a great choice for a Spring wedding.

2) Ceremony & Reception:

On the big day, you'll probably be switching between a variety of venues and you'll want to be prepared to face a range of temperatures. Arm yourself with a cover up that doesn't detract from your look. An embellished jacket, or coordinating wrap that is easy to take on and off, will keep you comfortable and looking stylish through the day.

3) Morning After Brunch:

If by morning you've recovered from all the festivities, you might want to join the wedding party and other guests at the traditional "morning after brunch". This portion of the wedding weekend extravaganza is usually a bit more casual, but you'll still want to look your best out of respect for the families and all the effort they have put into the affair. A pair of nice slack and a silk blouse, in addition to some sharp accessories should do the trick. And, yes, not to worry. They will be serving bloody mary's.
